Storage
Cloud storage for Scratch game data
Scratch cloud variables are numbers only, shared by everyone and small. Save codes get lost. Nookara gives each player their own cloud storage: sign in once, and the game's progress is saved to their account and loads on any device.

Choose a storage ID for your game (like my-platformer) and set it when the project starts. Then save anything under a key - level, coins, or a whole save as JSON - and read it back later.
A simple save system
- When the green flag is clicked: sign the player in, then set the storage ID.
- When authenticated: if key [save] exists in storage, load it into your variables.
- When the player finishes a level: set the
savekey.

Questions
Can I use this in regular Scratch?
Scratch itself can’t load custom extensions. Nookara works in Scratch mods that can, like TurboWarp and PenguinMod.
What can I save?
Text and numbers - JSON works well for bigger saves. Free accounts have 5 MB of storage.
What if the player plays on another computer?
They sign in with the same Nookara account and their save is there.
